Through policy advocacy, social change initiatives, and public education, TAI works to build an inclusive society that respects the rights and identities of all communities. Its unique approach combines ollaboration with governmental bodies, civil society organizations, and local stakeholders, aiming to develop replicable models that can be scaled at local and national levels.

Givat Haviva (GH) is one of Israel’s largest and oldest centers for Jewish-Arab encounters.

Founded in 1949 and named after resistance fighter Haviva Reik, the organization has worked for 75 years to promote a peaceful, democraticshared society between Arab and Jewish citizens of Israeli, grounded in equality.

The GH campus houses the Jewish-Arab Center for Peace (JACP), an arts and language center, archives, a research institute, an international school, and other facilities. Each year, over 30,000 people visit the campus to take part in educational and community-building programs.

Hand in Hand is Israel’s only network of integrated, bilingual schools and communities, creating an inclusive and shared culture between Palestinians and Jews in six locations across the country. With over 2,000 children from preschool to 12th grade enrolled each year, Hand in Hand equips students with skills urgently needed by our society today: critical thinking, empathy, and an understanding of the other. Women Wage Peace is the largest grassroots peace movement in Israel, working to bring about a political solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Today the movement has more than 50,000 members. WWP’s theory of change reflects the conflict, and its resolution, through a gendered lens. The movement is non-partisan and does not support any one specific solution to the conflict.

Instead, it empowers women from diverse communities, within Israel and from neighboring Palestinian communities, to build trust across divides, leading in turn to a unified demand for diplomatic negotiation, with full representation of women, to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. AJEEC-NISPED, founded in 2000, is an Arab-Jewish organization dedicated to social change and sustainable development in the Negev and across Israel.

Its diverse team works to build a shared society that values cultural identity, equality, and peaceful coexistence. AJEEC operates in three main areas: Youth & Leadership Development, Arab-Jewish Partnership, and Community Resilience. The organization has expanded its reach nationwide and is one of Israel’s largest civil society groups, with 200 staff members and 1,500 volunteers, including 750 gap-year participants.Its youth movement, Shabibat AJEEC, serves over 9,000 members and is recognized by the Ministry of Education, focusing especially on the Bedouin communities of the Negev through community-led solutions. The Parents Circle – Families Forum is a unique grassroots organization, whose power stems from the collaborative work of its members – more than 700 Palestinian and Israeli bereaved families who have all lost a loved one to the conflict. With the unprecedented hostility that has now emerged between the sides, the Forum presents a different and much needed perspective. Our goal is to inspire with a sense of empathy and reconciliation, rather than hatred and revenge. We choose to work side by side in partnership to build a better future for everyone. We mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers, children, wives, and husbands who have lost loved ones, understand that the pain of loss is the same for both sides, and the tears that fall are no different. Standing Together is a progressive grassroots movement mobilizing Jewish and Palestinian citizens of Israel against the occupation and for peace, equality, and social justice. We know that the majority have far more in common than that which sets us apart and only a tiny minority benefits from the status quo. The future that we want – peace and independence for Israelis and Palestinians, full equality for everyone in this land, and true social, economic,and environmental justice – is possible. To achieve this future, we must stand together as a united front: Jewish and Palestinian, secular and religious, Mizrahi

Since 2001, Itach-Ma’aki: Women Lawyers for Social Justice has been promoting the rights and voices of marginalized women in Israel, advocating for gender equality, equal access to justice, and the integration of a gender lens into policy. During the current war, the charity has supported vulnerable women by offering legal aid, therapeutic support, and public advocacy. In October 2023, Itach-Ma’aki and partners established Joint Jewish-Arab Emergency Relief Centers in the Negev-Naqab, providing essential supplies to hundreds of families. With Ramallah-based partners at JCW, Itach-Ma’aki has trained over 100 Palestinian and Israeli women leaders in peace and security negotiations, ensuring their voices are included in decision-making processes. Through its Online Testimony Database, the charity is also documenting women’s experiences in the ongoing conflict to amplify their vital perspectives and mainstream gender into peacebuilding.
