„We must admit that we were deeply concerned this morning, but WHAT A SUCCESS it turned out to be! Today we went out first thing in the morning to Tarqumiyah checkpoint to prevent settlers from attacking the humanitarian aid trucks destined for Gaza.

When we arrived, so did the police, and we managed to get them to stop the settlers from attacking the aid. The settlers then moved on to the next junction, where they succeeded to damage some of the aid. As soon as we arrived, we helped organize the food they threw at the side of the road and load it back onto atruck, ensuring that it will reach its destination. We managed to secure 30 aid trucks and they made their way to Gaza. Today was the first day for the past week tin which all the aid trucks were able to pass safely on their way towards Gaza.

We are going to continue our work with the Humanitarian Guard and we need your support.

Today was incredibly important – not only did we show the settlers who came out to attack the aid trucks that there are people there protecting the aid – we also made it clear to the police that there are citizens who will hold them accountable. We are heading out tomorrow morning again, and we will continue to go out to protect the aid for as long as people are determined to loot the trucks and commit these grave crimes – and for as long as the Israeli police and Army refuse to stop these people. „
